Rataora has three levels of security to protect your data:

Server Security

Rataora servers are hosted in a secure data centre and are protected by a firewall.  All data transferred to a Rataora server is encrypted using HTTPS (the same as internet banking uses).

Application Security

Only users who you invite into your organisation can access your data and every user must login using their own email address and password.

Rataora will automatically lock a user account if multiple failed login attempts are made.  Rataora will also automatically block an IP address if multiple failed login attempts are across multiple user accounts. User and IP lockouts are monitored by the Rataora Support team.

Rataora records all logins and maintains an audit log of cases viewed and updated by each user.

Account Security

Rataora has a number of user roles allowing you to decide which users will get access to data.  By default, a case can only be viewed by the case workers, supervisors and clinical managers.

An organisation can also have multiple services which provide another level of security, allowing a clinical manager to have access to their department or service only.
